"The Ark announces the lineup for the 2006 Ann Arbor Folk Festival"
The Ark’s largest annual fundraising event, the Ann Arbor Folk Festival is a rich celebration of the great folk and roots music you can hear at The Ark throughout the year. The Folk Festival presents the rare opportunity to hear many artists that are undiscovered—there’s always at least one breakout act that leaves Ann Arbor and the whole folk music community talking for months—on the same bill with a few stars at the very top of their careers. The two evenings of the Festival each run between four and five hours during which an eclectic mix of 7-10 groups or solo artists take the stage.
