Who is Krampus?  Only the swellest devil to accompany ole’ St Nick on his rounds during the holidays.  Unlike Santa, he joyfully punishes the naughty by swatting them with switches…but who doesn’t?

Toy & Canned Food Drive 

Bring in some new toys or cans of food and get in on the cheap (and some good feels)!  All toy donations are taken directly to a Toys For Tots center to benefit less fortunate children during the holidays and all canned donations go to Burners Without Borders Detroit to help feed the homeless (click here for details).

Buy some swell affordable art gifts for the naughty on your list (or for your naughty self)!  You'll find everything from small unique stocking stuffers to large original art pieces.

Generously donated by various artists of the DAMNED Exhibition and the Krampus Bazaaryou can bid to take home some amazing fine art while helping the homeless!  100% of all auction funds go directly to Burners Without Borders Detroit to help purchase much needed supplies to create survival backpacks for the homeless (click here for details).

It's a crap-tastic "exhibition" of holiday-ish ornaments and decorations created by the all-volunteer Krampus Redecoration Anticrafting Party (KRAP)!  These tiny monstrosities re-imagined from thrift/dollar store junk will be haphazardly spread out all over the venue.  And WTH also includes the Bad Gingerbread House Competition!

Sue Static & Stirling presents…STIRLING'S ROCK N' ROLL BIRTHDAY SHOW!

Stirling
Veteran music promoter/nightclub impresario Stirling will celebrate his birthday Detroit style! This year he has gathered together two of his favorite bands and musician friends to play for the night and celebrate! 

Performing will be the Motor City faves The Stomp Rockets. The band features the musical stylings of music scene veterans Greasy Carlisi, Dave Hanna, Gerald Shohan, Jay Jones, and Dan Mulholland. https://www.facebook.com/thestomprockets/  

The double bill also features the return of Rocket 455 to the stage! The band was a rock staple in the garage rock scene and they are back to rock with a vengeance!

Opening the night will be songs from folk artist Audra Kubat, rocker Eddie Baranek and more! Stirling will also join the performers to sing a few songs throughout the night.

The date is SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8 at 9 pm and all patrons 21 & over are welcome. Admission is $8. A portion of the proceeds will benefit CJAM radio Windsor. www.CJAM.ca

Static presents…THE 16th ANNUAL “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAZE” SONGWRITER SHOWCASE & CHARITY DRIVE


The holiday season is upon us and it is time once again for "Home for the Holidaze 16 Songwriter Showcase & Charity Drive." The event brings together local performers for an evening of acoustic music for a good cause. The donations and proceeds from the event go towards purchasing food and winter clothing items that are distributed to homeless people and animals thru our selected charities:   Outcry Street Ministry and the Hater Kitty Rescue Army.

Admission is $5 with one can of people or pet food or winter clothing item or $6 without. Boots, blankets, socks and hats and bags of pet food are much needed items this year.

Static Network has been hosting this showcase for over a decade to benefit the community's homeless people and animals. The donations and proceeds from the event go towards purchasing food and winter clothing items that is distributed to the homeless thru these two groups.

Outcry Youth & Street Ministry – The street ministry was founded by minister and fellow musician “Brother Joe” Hicks who has been helping the homeless and youth in Detroit for over three decades. Pet food donations are also collected each year and donated to a non-profit animal rescue shelter. 

Hater Kitty Rescue Army is a local cat rescue group who takes care of eastside of Detroit neighborhood strays, gets them health checked, and places them in forever homes. www.HaterKitty.com.
