Photos: The Mitten Movie Project (10/09) by Riaz K

The turnout at the MMP this month was smaller than usual. Most of the short films were entertaining and produced really well. The feature, "Qing Lou Nu", based on Edgar Alan Poe's "Tell Tale Heart" stood out with its crisp production and quality editing. Under the capable direction of Bryan D. Hopkins, the leads, Cindy Chu and Axel Harney put forth a convincing performance even when not aided with dialogue in the script.
