Another MCB Pick of the Week: Yosil Rosenzweig Concert - Pontiac - Sunday May 2nd 5pm

After 40 years of writing music, playing hundreds of concerts, lending his songs to others musicians and bands including the Diaspora Yeshiva Band who won the Hassidic Music Festival (equivalent of Grammy's in Israel) in 1976 and 1978 with his songs Yosil Rosenzweig is finally recording an album/DVD...
Check out this absolutely incredible band comprised of some of the best local musicians.
Joe Stanley, Marcus McGlown, Dan Wolak, Mark Betz, David Appelman and Special Guest Ruby Harris who is coming in from Chicago to play at this show.
This is not a typical jewish/klezmer show.
This is a rock and roll/jazz/blues band...
there are going to be classic songs you may know, and a number of new songs you have not heard. Either way you have never heard these songs done this way...
This is truly going to be a unique show.
The proceeds from the show are going to the Friendship Circle.
We are also going to have a fantastic local artist Jacquelyn Elser painting during the concert, afterwards the painting is going to be auctioned off,
and money going to the Friendship Circle.
Tickets can be purchased here.
