Leading up to the May 4 release of their new album MORE! (Get Physical), BOOKA SHADE will unleash their new single “Bad Love” on April 26. The song is an irresistible, neo-classical vocal house tune featuring long-term Get Physical compadre and electropop’s first cosmosexual antihero Chelonis R. Jones (“49 Percent,” “I Don’t Know”). Written by Booka Shade’s Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier along with Jones, the single package will also include remixes by Cassius, Groove Armada, Kaiserdisco, Tim Green, Azari & III and Joe & Will Ask.
At the end of May, they will come to the USA for select high-profile shows, landing at Movement Electronic Music Festival on May 31. Regarded by many as the best live electronic act in the world, Booka Shade have enjoyed a meteoric rise since establishing themselves with their breakthrough album Memento in 2005. Worldwide club hits such as “Body Language,” “In The White Rooms” and “Charlotte” followed as well as their second album Movements, which is regarded as one of the last decade's classic electronic albums. Five years on and with the release of their fourth LP More !—due out on May 4--Booka Shade delve deeper than ever before, delivering what has to be their most dynamic and accomplished album to date.
