Wild At Heart

I am on a small time constraint today so pardon me if I start my blog today and finish it tomorrow. Starting off, Narnia fans are in for a treat as Twelve Oaks Mall, Fairlane Town Center and Great Lakes Crossing Outlets celebrate the holidays and the newest Narnia big screen adventure (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader which opens Dec 10th) together. On Friday, November 12th at 7PM, the stars from the movie, Georgie Henley (Lucy Pevensie) and Will Poulter (Eustace Clarence Scrubb) will give holiday revelers the first look at the their highly anticipated film streamed live from Beverly Center in Los Angeles which will be simulcast to the three area malls. At the mall, the movie tie-in will feature Ice Palaces built with scenes from the upcoming movie for the youngsters to enjoy. This also comes into play with the arrival of the Santa Claus at the malls, just in time for Thanksgiving Yes Santa, I want a turkey for Christmas!

The Narnia display will be in place through Dec 24th which gives families plenty of time to enjoy the experience. Similar to previous displays, the exhibit features a color changing 30-ft Ice Palace encircled by majestic arches and smaller globes which tell the story of Narnia. There will be falling snow (that you don’t have to shovel) a light show and an interactive ice arch with the paw prints of various famous Narnian creatures. On opening day, the first 200 attendees will be given an LED wand to help light the Ice Palace and each mall will give away 200 Ice Pack prize packs filled with an assortment of goodies including a mini movie poster, coupons for specialty food items at the center and a voucher for a free commemorative photo with Santa that can be used that evening, or any time prior to November 24. Adult can register to win a $500 mall gift card (remember me for your shopping pleasure).
