I got a call from a friend a few nights ago letting me know that Motorcity Special Emcee Stanley T Madhatter had passed away. It was tough to hear. MadHatter was part of our first three MCS Live Recording Shows and we were thrilled that he had as much enthusiasm about the Motorcity Special Live to Vinyl Recording as we did....you see, the way he explained it was that vinyl was the truest of all media and he wanted to be part of our shows from the start. Stanley is featured on our records and you can hear his passion for the motorcity and its music with every word as he introduces the bands or fills in the crowd between sets about what it was like back in the day.Truly one of the nicest of guys....Stanley you will be missed.
