TONIGHT! Beer and Politics

It's not as dangerous as it sounds!

On the second Wednesday of each month, the historic Anchor Bar Tavern is host to Beer and Politics, a gathering where concerned and thirsty citizens yak it up with the people who run this town.

Last month we had the pleasure of talking with Sommer Woods, the City of Detroit's Film, Culture & Special Events Liaison. Special guest for the November meeting was Ronald Muir, the City's Building Inspection Supervisor, and involved some particularly heated discussion regarding Theatre Bizarre.

Tonight the Anchor Bar will welcome Detroit politician Freman Hendrix. Where will the conversation lead?

Beer and Politics is open to anyone who can handle their booze while talking to city officials.

7-10pm
