UPCOMING: Vodka Vodka, 28 Jan

I went to the first Vodka Vodka event in winter of 2010 and had a great time. Not only was it something different, and a lot of fun, it was EDUCATIONAL, too! I learned about local distillers and sampled specialty vodka-inspired cuisine from local restaurants (you're gonna want that food)... and, um... hm, my memory is a little blurry about the second half of the evening for some reason. No, really, lots of awesome fur hats and buying what turned out to be one of my favorite T-shirts, which also benefited Forgotten Harvest. Win-win-hic!

Vodka Vodka returns for its 2nd year as Detroit's premier Vodka-tasting party. Vodka Vodka will take place at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market on Fri., Jan. 28, 2011 at 8 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the internationally-known DJ Jenny La Femme. A portion of the ticket sales will help raise funds for Forgotten Harvest.

Valentine Vodka, Hard Luck Candy Vodka, Ugly Dog Vodka and Grand Traverse Vodka. Frankenmuth Brewery and Atwater Brewery will provide beer for all attendees.
