Over the past 2-3 weeks, there have been quite a few great releases that have been distributed via bandcamp.

1st up is Black Lodge's Moon. Black Lodge was a band that had a very very short existence but made a great impact on the local scene. Every show was captivating and conjured a good amount of buzz. They happened to be one of the featured groups on the Motorcity Special Volume 2 Vinyl. "Moon" was their lost LP that never was. Finally mastered and made available, it serves as Black Lodge's epitaph and as a reminder of the greatness that too quickly dissolved.

Divorce Party is out with their second EP "Astrocongertion Oporium". They are based out the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area of Michigan and one of the provocateurs of the great noise scene over there. This EP is great, utterly experimental, unquantifiable, something truly unique that noone else in this scene is close to.

Chavis Chandler is an awesome young rapper/producer that has been blazin The Detroit Scene. A seasoned regular at The Air Up There and Bob's Classic Kicks, Chavis just released his "Breath of Fresh Air" mixtape. There are few guest spots on the mix. Be sure to check out "7 Mile" and "Seasons".
