Hey, kiddies, we all want to enjoy Independence Day - but there seems to be some confusion about "commercial" vs "consumer" grade fireworks, and the distinction between Class B and Class C fireworks. Fuggedaboutit. In Michigan, it is forbidden to light off anything that leaves the ground or contains high levels of explosive content, without a permit. Sure, they can be purchased and sold under certain conditions, but without a permit, you can't light off the big ones.
