Wild At Heart
I like to refer to Manchester Orchestra’s music as dirty. They are not a pretty band and they seem to fall somewhere in the middle of indie bands like Fugazi and jam bands like Phish. The fall neatly in the middle area and provide a sheer wall of music that can just beat against your brain. The band puts on a good live show and while they lost the end of their set this day to rain, they still had enough time to convert non-believers to their fold.
You can find more information about the band at http://www.themanchesterorchestra.com/us/home including the next closest date for those like road trips as they play the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on Aug 17th.
