FRIDAY: The High Strung to Perform at Hard Rock Detroit's Tree Lighting Party in Support of The Forgotten Harvest Charity



WHAT:
National act, The High Strung and local band, The Blue Squares will be performing at Hard Rock Cafe Detroit’s Tree Lighting Party in support of The Forgotten Harvest charity. In lieu of a cover charge, guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support The Forgotten Harvest.

THIS Friday, November 18th 2011

DJ Captn from 5-9 p.m.
The High Strung and Blue Squares start at 10 p.m.

COST:
FREE and open to all ages.
Bring in non-perishable food items to support The Forgotten Harvest.

The Forgotten Harvest
The Forgotten Harvest’s mission is to reduce hunger and waste in the Detroit Metropolitan area by rescuing surplus, perishable and prepared food and donating it to emergency food providers.

The High Strung
Native Detroit Rockers The High Strung are being described as the band that future bands will be compared to. “The Luck You Got” from their album “Moxie Bravo” has been used as the theme song for the U.S. version of the show “Shameless.”

The Blue Squares
With a 60’s retro-rock feel, The Blue Squares’ debut album “Hard Times” speaks to Detroit’s past and its future.
