No surprise that fans got exactly what they have been waiting six years for Monday night at The Royal Oak Music Theatre.
Sometimes bands sound so amazing on disc or on the radio that you think it might be impossible for them to live up to expectations during a live show. Well, Amy Lee did not disappoint. She gave an amazingly flawless and incredibly strong vocal performance as well as having an energetic stage presence. The band opened up with their first single “What you Want” from their self titled third studio album, which was released on October 11, 2011. It debuted at #1on the Billboard 200 chart with 172,000 copies in sales.

Remember that little girl “Cindy Lou Who” from the movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”? Well, she’s all grown up. Now the front women for The Pretty Reckless, Taylor Momsen , once an actress has given all that up to become a full time musician. The Pretty Reckless released their first studio album titled “Light Me Up” on August 31, 2010. Being selected to tour with Evanescence should be considered a pretty not so reckless beginning to their musical career.
