The 15th Metrotimes Hamtramck Blowout Feb 29-March 3rd, a great environment to find out about new bands and see the Hamtramck night life in action. It is really a fun place for night owls and local music enthusiasts.
The first stop I made was at the Polish Village Cafe, doors opened and there was a packed crowd by 10 am. There were people stuffed around exciting new bands, that also had enough energy to get the crowd ready for more to come that night. There were bands like Outrageous Cherry who headlined at the village and Big Mess who opened along side with Destroy This Place and Seedsmen To the World.

The next stop was right down the street, at Baker Streetcar Bar. Walked in and of course it was full of people, for Lightning Love. Once they played their encore song, you could see almost everyone singing and dancing to this feel-good band. Then at the end of the night, Fur. With a spooky shoegazey sound to them, they were sure to end the night well.
