Modern Skate Park Hosts First U.S. Scooter Championship

Modern Skate Park will be hosting the first ever U.S. Scooter Championships. This weekend event will start with the beginners competition on June 9 and finish with the amateur and pro competition on June 10. All riders and teams are welcome to attend.

Created by the International Scooter Association, the championship is designed to bring the fans and riders of Freestyle Scooter Riding together. There are three national finals happening in the U.S., Australia, and Europe. Proceeds for the event will be used to publicize the sport and support the riders.

Riders need to pre-register on the event website and sign a disclaimer the day of the event. Participants are eligible to win a variety of prizes, including a cash prize of $3,000. The top ten riders will be invited to the International Final and will compete against 40 well-recognized riders from across the globe. The top 25 riders will receive an ISA ranking.
