Takahiro Kitamura is a prominent tattoo artist who also documents the trends and styles of tattooing in his book I Love Tattoos published by Schiffer Books. After serving as apprentice to Paco Excel at New Skool Tattoo for two years Takahiro began tattooing in San Jose in 1998. Takahiro who is humble and a quick study has gained a lot from his relationships in the tattoo world. Two hundred extraordinary and renowned tattoo artists have a selection of their work in this collection. A stunning range of styles is displayed in I Love Tattoos.  Classic portraits and Americana, traditional Japanese, Polynesian, contemporary, free form, edgy, and hybrid styles are documented. A bit of narrative is written about each tattoo artist's beliefs, personal history11, and Takahiro Kitamura's impression of them. The depth and intensity of these relationships is conveyed. He obviously deeply admires their craft and their attitudes.
