FREE TICKETS for DO NOT MISS SHOW: Turbo Fruits return to Detroit - LAger House show 9/10

Badass rock 'n roll crew Turbo Fruits are returning to Detroit bringing their guitar-heavy jams and relentless energy to Lager House on September 10th.

They will release their 3rd full-length album, Butter, on September 11th, via Kings of Leon's label, Serpents & Snakes.

Recorded in eight days in Austin, TX, with Spoon's Jim Eno at his Public Hi-Fi studio, Butter is the follow up to their 2009 Fat Possum album Echo Kid and the 2007 self-titled Ecstatic Peace debut. It's it's a fun-loving blast of fury that slashes its way through punk, surf, and power-pop -- and leaving behind a wake of blown minds and melted faces.

This Nashville four-piece (led by Jonas Stein – ex-Be Your Own Pet, co-founder of the Bruise Cruise) is known for its explosive live act...spastic, loud solos combined with sneering, playful attitudes and serious rock 'n roll stage antics. They recently finished a 65-day tour with Deer Tick and are part of this rising Nashville rock scene, with bands like JEFF The Brotherhood, Pujol, Heavy Cream, and more.

SPIN premiered the first single off Butter, called "Sweet Thang." "It's a lonesome heartbreak-rocker," they says, "that could nicely slot between the festival-size anthems of the Walkmen and the garage-bound rambles of the Strange Boys on a pretty great sad-bastard mixtape."

This record is one of our favorites of 2012 by far and if you catch the show next month you will be privy to Jonas's air splits which rival any great rockstar!
