BROADWAY in Detroit REVIEW: La Cage Aux Folles by Firefar

When a tranny in a floor length gown going by the name Ms. Lily White Ass warms the crowd with lots of love for Detroit and jokes from political Mormons to black and jewish lesbians with power tools, well you know it's going to be a fun and unusual ride.  God, I love my gays!

The ride is called La Cage Aux Folles at the Fisher Theater - running Sept. 25 thru October 7.  George Hamilton stars as Georges - all bronzed and satiny in his crushed velvet jacket he has limited musicality but not bad for a septigenarian.  The absolute show stealer is Christopher Sieber, playing Georges partner, Albin. The "Les Cagelles" are very talented with the tightest legs, abs and ass you will see anywhere that doesn't have a bouncer named Rocko at the door. They are happily eager to show off their "special skills" in this performance.

Now I know what you are thinking; musicals are fine except for all that singing and dancing they do.
This is entertainment people! It's what they do! And they do it very well.

Take your mom, dad, granny, husband, wife, lover, gay lover, kids, whoever as long as they are over 5.

It's a great gift and a great time.
