Guerilla street music troupe The Detroit Party Marching Band is heading on tour in October! To celebrate, they're teaming up with the new Detroit Bus Company for the first-ever fully inclusive night of city-wide impromptu performances. An all-night, multi-venue show? An open call for guerilla performance backup dancers? An homage to Ms. Frizzle and the Magic School Bus? The craziest bar crawl ever? Yes, to all of the above.

How it works: Pre-purchase a ticket to one of three shows (8:30PM, 10:30PM, 12:30AM) at thedetroitbus.com/specialevents.

Show up at the Old Miami for your show time. Show us your ticket. Get on the bus. The three shows are 8:30PM, 10:30PM and 12:30AM on Saturday, September 22nd. Be at the Old Miami to be picked up before your show time and whisked away to the crash location alongside the band. They’ll play on the bus!

They’ll play out the bus at bewildered pedestrians! They’ll play bars, parties and street corners across the city! And we’ll drop you off back at the Old Miami sweat-soaked and successfully partied.

Come dressed in your most dazzling, sequin-encrusted, fringed-laced evening wear: you’re blurring the line between audience and performance, so get ready to dance! Oh, and did we mention you can bring your own booze on the Detroit Bus? Well, you can, because we roll that way.

Can't commit to the whole night? No problem. Catch us along the way: You can call or text The Detroit Bus at 313-444-2871 to hear where we're at and where we're going. Jump on the bus or just tail us, gypsy-caravan style You can also track the bus online in real time at http://thedetroitbus.com/live/. Plus, DPMB will be updating the antics at http://twitter.com/guerillabrassd and http://www.facebook.com/DetroitPartyMarchingBand, so keep an eye to the social medias!
