Show Review: Flight Facilities at Primary (Chicago) 10/25

Internationally acclaimed fly-boy DJs Flight Facilities touched down in Chicago for the only midwest stop on this falls Frequently Flying Tour. MCB made the trek to the Windy City to check it out.

Dressed in retro aviator gear,  Flight Facilities fit right in with the Halloween crowd, playing a sophisticated set of silky-smooth electro-disco. The dancefloor was packed at the chic-yet-unassuming basement club Primary, the perfect venue for an intimate after-hours dance party. Highlights included international hit singles "Crave You" and "Foreign Language" in a set that also featured killer remix jams from Holy Ghost! and Cut/Copy.

While they are better known outside of the US,  FF are quickly reaching an elite altitude in the world of electro-pop/EDM and have the talent and self-awareness to handle such mega-stardom. The boys don't take themselves too seriously, but have a sharp focus on making extremely sharp and fresh sounding records.

I got the feeling this was the hottest party in the city on this night and everyone knew it too.
