Fatal Femme, captain of the D-Funk Allstars let me in on how the team's lineup has changed, and what to expect this Saturday:
Detroit Area Dork:What players aren't returning this season, and what vacancies did that leave in the team's overall skill-set?
Fatal Femme: We had a HUGE loss this year, losing Polly Fester, Ima Wrecker, Bytch Ryder, Misty Struction, Mamma Jamma, and Rock'em. These ladies are very missed. Ima is one of the founding members of DDG and she is a huge loss to everyone!

D:Why did your team only get one draft choice?
F: We decided to keep our team smaller this year. Last season having to sit 3 skaters every bout was so hard. Having a full bench makes it hard to give everyone playing time. With a smaller team this season we hope to give everyone more playing time.
D: What factors led you to make your draft choice?
F: Smack Morris was with out a doubt born to be on the Funk! She is a perfect fit for this Funky team!

D: How is the team preparing to face the Pistoffs?
F: We have been working very hard on everything. Pistoffs are a very strong team, and we couldn't leave anything out. We have put a lot more conditioning into our practices. El Mattador is a new manager to D-Funk this year, and has been working hard on conditioning to get us ready for our first bout!
