The Cult
along with Salem have release a remix version of the song “Elemental Light”
from The Cult’s latest album “Choice of Weapon.” Ian Astbury reached out to
Salem as an admirer in regards to remixing one of the songs off of their latest
release. The band responded with the track “Elemental Light” as their choice
for a remix.
The remix of
the song itself is extremely peaceful and thought provoking. It reminds me of
something I would listen to while meditating into a deep trance.
The video was
directed by Kostas Seremetis a long time artist and cinematographer. He took the song to a whole new level of
something tragic and beautiful at the same time. The result is more of a short
film than an actual music video, that will make you think about life and
humanity on many different levels.
