Local hard rockers SuperLast, will debut their sophomore, self-titles disc tonight at the Magic Bag in Ferndale. The five-piece band comprised of Mike Azuri-Lead Vocals, Rich Pyle-Drums, Johnny Q.-Guitar/Backing Vocals, Tim Reamer-Guitar/Keyboards, Tim Downs-Bass, debuted their inaugural album in 2009 titled American Lunatic. Since this release, SuperLast has played various venues including DTE Music Theatre with Def Leppard. and this year’s Uncle Sam Jam in Southgate with Great White.
“I feel so grateful, to do be doing what I love for a living and having the time to play out my passion in the band, Rich Pyle recently stated. “What does the future hold, I’m not sure, but I am sure enjoying the ride.”
If Rich Pyle sounds familiar to you, you may know him from the TruTv Hit Series Hard Core Pawn. Pyle has been an employee for close to 25 years at American Gold and Jewelry, the Pawn shop the show is based out of.
The SuperLast CD Release Party welcomes 18 and up to the show. Opening acts include new up and comers, Names Unlisted, the pop rock band, Tripp N Dixie and hard rock favorites, 60 Second Crush.
