FRIDAY: CLEAR CHANNEL CARES COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE FOR GLEANERS

Nearly 320,000 children in southeast Michigan receive free or reduced-fee meals in school. That means when the school year ends, they become at risk of missing nutritious meals. Hunger Free Summer, underwritten by the Charter One Foundation, aims to provide 2 million meals during the summer months to ensure children in southeast Michigan do not go hungry. Donations are matched dollar-for- dollar by Charter One Foundation and 12 additional corporate sponsors. Every $1 donated provides six meals to hungry kids.
