There are 200+ local detroit bands that are killer on this years lineup
For some reason there is a Hard Lessons showcase but the band isnt even playing this year - I mean are they that good they get thier own showcase? We dig the band but there are plenty of other kickass motorcity groups who ARE playing the blowout who should get some attention.
We recommend checking out as many bands as possible...unless you really want to hang at Detour's top 20 or MT special picks....waiting for a beer and crowding like lemmings.

FRIDAY MARCH 7th
Don't miss one of detroit's most overlooked bands over at the ATLAS BAR with MAZINGA going on at midnight who are just going to blow you away
Plan on stopping in at some point any of the Loco Gnosis bands at Paychecks

Make sure to stop in over at P.L.A.V. POST 10 to say hello and jam out to our new friends from the detroit hillbilly band HORSE CAVE TRIO (check the MCB-Video here)
CHILL & MINGLE with some very cool tunes by DARLING IMPERIAL and MADAM XD
Any of the bands playing KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS will knock you back a step or two but if you can get inside the venue early you will be sure to catch a great show with the DETROIT COBRAS one of MCBs personal favorites for sure.

BAKER'S STREETCAR is hosting THE DISPLAYS and LENNY STOOFY (MCB video)
JEAN'S will be jamming with EASTSIDE ELVIS LIZ LARIN & finishing off the night with THE CASKET BASTARDS (MCB VIDEO)
GINO FANELLI plays the KELLY'S BAR (dont miss this one folks - gino rocks the place)
SMALL'S will have a killer lineup all night if you want to defeat the purpose of a wristband
