MORE GREAT NEWS FROM MICHIGAN MOVIE MAKERS

Hope College graduates, Joel Paul Reisig ‘96 and Scott Voshel ‘98, premiered their movie, Fraternity House on Thursday, September 18, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at the Celebration Cinema.

Proceeds from DVD and poster sales are being donated to the Ataxia Telangiectasia Children’s Project.

The movie stars American Pie’s, Justin Isfeld, and the real life 14th year senior, Johnny Lechner who has been a full time college student since 1994. He was featured on the Late Show with David Letterman and on the cover of People Magazine. The film also features Christian Stolte (Prison Break, Ali, Road to Prediction, Stranger Than Fiction) and newcomer Brittany Risner.

Five dollars of each DVD sold and three dollars of each movie poster sold will benefit the A-T Children’s Project.

The A-T Children’s Project is a non-profit organization that raises funds for scientific research aimed at finding a cure and improving the lives of all children with ataxia-telangiectasia. A-T is a lethal genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems, and a strikingly high rate of cancer, especially leukemia and lymphoma.

The Celebration Cinema is located at 2121 Celebration Dr. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525.

The story centers around two graduating seniors, Jake (Joel Paul Reisig) and Evan (Justin Isfeld) on their mischievous adventure on how to stay on campus for a fifth year. The movie gives the audience a 24 hour magnified look of “the most intense pledging ever seen on film.”
