Get some real chocolates for Easter over at Le Petit Prince

If you have a sweet tooth this holiday weekend make sure to head on over to Le Petit Prince in Birmingham to get your fill of the real deal when it comes to chocolates and other pastry treats.
LPP is located on the corner of Pierce and 14 Mile Rd. in one of those old school local market type corners with a bakery, dry cleaner and corner party stores that hasnt been torn down and re-developed with a Subway / Little Ceasers and 7/11 - its cool.
I drive by this place like everyday always wanting to stop in and check it out....
so today was the day where we finally pulled over
and stepped into one of the most authentic
old school bakeries we have ever seen....
Now you can get your fill of chinese made chocolates and candies anyplace but if you want to hook up something that is locally made and unique - Le Petit Prince is the place!

Marcel & Yvette Didierjean are responsible for all these amazing treats.

Le Petit Prince was opened late 1979 and the family has been serving the area with their french style breads cakes pies truffles baquettes cookies almond croissants

and then there are the hand made chocolates

If you have never been to France ~ this is what it is supposed to taste like!

MCB recommends that you take some time out of your busy schedule

to step back in time and treat yourself to something

that you will not soon forget - a trip to Le Petit Prince!

Le Petit Prince is open tomorrow and Sunday early AM to early afternoon
