I,Crime Tour Kickoff Show - PJ's Lager House Detroit - Wed April 15th

I,Crime kicks off East Coast Tour
at PJs Lager House Wed April 15th 2009

With a recently released a 7inch single "Dove Skin Gloves" on Woodbridge Records and an east coast tour just ahead on the horizon, local detroit rockers I,Crime have a lot to smile about.
Touring with fellow labelmates Noman and the opening act The Summer Pledge

I,CRIME
The melted male/female vocals of I, Crime create a new brand of 'romantic rock' that could come only from the rust belt paradise of Detroit, Michigan. Through thoughtful lyrics and melodic songwriting, I,Crime maintains a rock edge reminiscent of late '70's L.A. Punk influences Wire and X, while sweet boy/girl harmonies earn comparisons to the smooth psychedelia of The Raveonettes.

Their EP "Get the Knife" reached #1 song on Brown Student Radio in Providence, RI. with the song "It Ain't Right", while the song "Drowning" will be featured in the film "Elsewhere", out in theaters this fall.

I,Crime is now touring in support of their new 7 inch single, Dove Skin Gloves, recorded by Grammy nominated Collin Dupuis. Released on Woodbridge Records, the pair of songs are winding, burning ballads, with fuzzy but fierce guitars, steady rhythms and bittersweet vocals that detail the thin line between love and hate, devotion and indifference.

NOMAN
Detroit trio Noman explore the history of punk and folk and find their sound somewhere in the middle, creating a delicate intermediary with pop-hinted melodies through raspy rousing vocals that can both inspire and enrage. Noman's all-around-and-all-falling-down drum-styling and humming guitar licks set a disarming stylized groove that’s distinct to their own blend of grimy folk with pedal-to-the-metal punk rock.

Touring in support of their second full length album "Broadcast", released on Woodbridge Records and recorded by Steve Albini, Noman roots around in the skeleton-stacked closet of punk, while melding rough smoky British folk and rah-rah-rousing jigs to create a sound that combines Dylan and The Pogues with the pop of The Clash and the fierceness of American Steel.
