“Someone Stole My Car” mp3 here

Needless to say that Ibadet Ramadani has one of the most exciting, impressive, alluringly and hauntingly wonderful voices with attitude in modern music. The rest of the band: Albana and Ilirjana Ramadani are singing the harmonies, Johannes Saal on guitar, Simon Rauterberg on keyboard, Michael Haves on Bass and Sebastian Schmidt on the drums.

After Super 700 emerged as Berlin’s number one underground darlings, they released their debut self titled album in May 2006 on Motor Music. They created waves on their consequent tour that also took them to Los Angeles and Vancouver.

They played the Viper Room and The Key Club and performed in the studio of the radio station KCRW, as a guest of the world famous show “Morning Becomes Eclectic” – after DJ Nic Harcourt personally invited them, after he saw one of their shows. The songs for Lovebites were written by Ibadet and Bassplayer Michael early 2008 in France. The album is produced by Irishman Rob Kirwan (U2, Depeche Mode) and was recorded and brilliantly completed in the Planet Rock studios in Berlin.

If you still doubt the heroic qualities of the Berlin 7 piece, just listen to this record!

All doubters should list as well. Super 700 is on its way.

They left their Lovebites on our necks.

Check out a bunch of sounds from Antony here

Antony and the Johnsons’ “Epilepsy is Dancing” cd single and yellow vinyl 7” hits the shelves today, April 6,in the US and on Tuesday in Europe. The song is a mesmerizing avant waltz that ends with an almost ecstatic abandon: "Cut me in Quadrants/Leave me in the corner/Oooh now it's passing/Ooh now I'm dancing". B/W “Where is My Power”, the rocking opening track for the live set of Antony and the Johnsons' sold out world tour which is currently whisking them around Europe.

This photo by Don Felix Cervantes features Antony's friend, mathematician Dr. Julia Yasuda, Ph.D, who also appeared recently on the Johnsons website in a beautiful new video by Joie Iacono entitled FEMININE.

Check out the lush video for “Epilepsy is Dancing” by the WACHOWSKI BROTHERS starring underground star JOHANNA CONSTANTINE which has been in the top 10 most viewed videos on Pitchfork.tv since it was first aired 2 months ago!

ICE PALACE'S WONDER SUBTLY CRUSHING US OUT APRIL 21ST

FROM WONDER SUBTLY CRUSHING US

Ice Palace's haunting sophomore album, Wonder Subtly Crushing Us will be available April 21st through Earthology Records. Ice Palace is the first band to join Cloud Cult on eco-friendly Earthology Records roster. The Minneapolis, MN five-piece released Bright Leaf Left in 2007.The melancholic Wonder Subtly Crushing Us is the culmination of roughly 20 years of writing, steming from the band's overly creative lead singer and songwriter, Adam Sorensen. After assembling some of the best talent in Minneapolis, in some of the most unexpected recording spaces (from Minneapolis’ Sound Gallery studio to a bedroom closet), the album was handed to Craig Minowa of Cloud Cult for final mixing and production at his Earthology Records studio.

With the band already drawing comparisons to such heavyhitters as The Decemberists and American Analogue Set, Wonder Subtly Crushing Us combines the nuanced lyricism of Sorensen, the innovative musicianship of the eclectic ensemble of players and the creative conception of Minowa -- resulting in an album worthy of attention.Earthology Records is a not-for-profit environmental record label who makes every effort to use as much recycled, reclaimed and environmentally safe materials in their packaging.

The label uses 100% recycled/reclaimed jewel cases, the highest recycled content papers on the market with nontoxic soy inks. Their shrink wrap is made of nontoxic low density polyethylene, instead of toxic poly-vinyl chloride -- soon be made of 100% biodegradable corn cellulose.Earthology studios have an environmentally friendly design, using products like recycled plastic lumber, soundboards made of Homasote (100% recycled newspaper), and reclaimed lumber.

The studio is located on 11 acres of prairie, wetlands, woods, and an organic herb/vegetable farm. All heat and cooling is provided sustainably via a geothermal system. Electricity is provided by wind power (via Allete's Wind Sense Program). For more information about Earthology, head to their website at http://www.earthology.net/.

Black Hat Brigade Release New Song and Invite Fans

to Take Part in the Making of Forthcoming Fathers EP

DOWNLOAD “Zombie City Shakes”

May 28th 2009 Brampton’s indie post-rockers Black Hat Brigade will independently release their second EP, Fathers. Leading up to the release the band has launched the Donation Project (more info below). Before fully servicing press and radio, we are sending you a new song, so you can get a taste of the new EP! The band has gained a loyal and enthusiastic following arcross central Canada. The band has played alongside internationally acclaimed acts likes Handsome Furs, Snowden, Forward Russia, and Land of Talk and has been making waves with their extremely sweaty live sets.
It could be said that the drug induced children’s programming of the early 1980’s, overexposure to video game soundtracks, and the years spent partying in the bowels of dead end suburban cul-de-sacs might have had an influence on Brampton, Ontario’s Black Hat Brigade’s song writing. The final result is songs that range from drunken art-rock sea shanties, to juxtaposing moments of quiet contemplation with percussive assaults akin to the sound of a small army of wild animals taking back land that was rightfully theirs. In their short time together BHB have played many a sweaty dance-evoking set and appeared at popular music festivals Pop Montreal, Canadian Music Week, and North by North East.

The duo known as UltraChorus is Chris Heidman and Jeff Lorentzen.

The two spend nearly everyday in their Minneapolis SoTM studio composing and making beats at an Olympic level.

Check this remix of My Dear Disco here(MP3).

The duo that hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota are a production team that create electro pop somewhat similar to The Postal Service with much thicker beats. Chris Heidman (formerly of Sukpatch, and electro pop act on the Beastie Boys defect label Grand Royal) and Jeff Lorentzen have been producing music together for quite some time in their SoTM studio.

"Planet Man" (

Like we mentioned on Friday, the folks from DEATH hit us up about whats happening on their end - new record - new tour - etc.etc.etc. - DEATH was one of the original punk bands out of detroit back in the day but dropped of the map for nearly 30 years until just recently discovered recordings prompted the remaining members to plug back in & hit the scene again.

Here is the link to the New York Times piece that floated around the detroit websites a few weeks ago...check it out here
