Music for Mutts Royal Oak Music Theatre May 16 2-6pm

David Dupuie, with Killer Aisle 7 Promotions, also a local musician with the band “Ingray” was inspired after he adopted his dog Drifter from a local shelter and later learning his new floppy eared buddy was severely epileptic; to help raise money for the numerous unwanted animals that are temporarily housed in shelters. With his love of music, his love of animals and his Detroit music scene connections, he came up with the idea to pull together some of his favorite bands and friends from the area to come together in support of homeless animals all across our state through the Michigan Humane Society and performances from some of Detroit’s best bands. Music4Mutts has also gained the support of several local businesses who have offered their donations and services resulting in a group of amazing auction items, great door prizes, fabulous food, our cities best live music, not to mention, an event buzz and excitement never expected.



Supporters for this event have emerged from one Michigan coast to the other including the Royal Oak Music Theatre who without their flexibility and support this show may never have been possible. Also including Minority Drums of Warren, MI. Minority Drums has donated to the silent auction a one of kind, hand-made custom drum kit. This kit is a “ONE OFF” and is also autographed by all of the Music4Mutts performers making if a truly rare and one of a kind item. We have an awesome hand made “Jetstream” guitar from Reverend Guitars also in Warren, The Orvis endorsed Pere Marquette River Lodge has donated a guided Fishing Trip on the Pere Marquette River in Baldwin, Michigan. This trip includes a full day on the beautiful Pere Marquette River in some of the most pristine fishing waters in our nation with a river side grilled lunch. In addition, Tiger Shark Golf has donated a set of ladies “Lady Shark” golf clubs w/ bag, Live your Rock Star dreams this summer with this certificate from “Day Jams” Americas original rock school day camp for kids ages 8-15, Om Spa located in Dearborn has donated a gift basket of fabulous spa quality products, One of Music4Mutts four legged supporters named “Girl” has donated a rare photo of Hannibal Lector autographed by Anthony Hopkins, Raisin River Golf Club in Monroe has donated a round of golf for 4 including carts and Canine to Five has donated a doggy day care gift certificate - we also have a fine wine basket, a basket for the kids full of plush toys, A Romantic Overnight Stay at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Gold Earrings from Astreins Jewelers of Birmingham and gift certificates donated from Detroit Flyhouse, Gentle Sensations Canine Massage, Massage Green, Aqua Salon of West Bloomfield, Showtime Clothing in Detroit, Little Caesars Pizza, Mitchells Fish Market, Glitz & Ears, The Town Tavern, Buddy’s Pizza, BW3s of Ferndale and Rallo’s Pizza of Royal Oak!



For all our musicians and struggling artists we have a couple great five dollar raffle items that include studio recording time at Tempermill Recording Studio in Ferndale and a head shot photo session with Scott Sprague at Scott Sprague Photography Studio in Detroit.
