We had to let you know that alternative, noise-rockers, Violent Soho, are coming through Detroit on October 23rd to play Magic Stick in support of The Raveonettes.

Masked behind an armor of flannel and denim, the Australian quartet bring their raging riffs, battering guitars, distorted angry vocals, and a rhythm section that threatens to flatten buildings. Hailing from Brisbane Australia's bible belt suburb of Mansfield, their music is a reaction against everyone and everything.

After touring extensively throughout Australia, playing shows with bands such as The Black Keys, The Bronx, Black Francis, and Trail Of Dead, Violent Soho is now crashing like a tidal wave on the shores of North America as they are currently on a tour during which they will be opening for the likes of Built To Spill, Raveonettes, and Dinosaur Jr.

MCB checked the Magic Stick website for Violent Soho and came up empty handed....did one of the most promising bands from down under get kicked to the curb for some Hounds Below?
