Plant a tree in Detroit - Volunteer for Greening of Detroit 20th Anniversary

Plant a Tree for the Greening of Detroit's 20th Anniversary!

Project Clean on the far east side with the Greening of Detroit!

Join Project Clean and DSG Shares on Saturday, November 7th at 9am, as we help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Greening of Detroit! This autumn, with a generous grant from the Cotton family, the Greening of Detroit are planting 135 trees along East Jefferson Avenue, between I-375 and Alter Rd, over a four week period. This is where DSG Shares and Project Clean come in --- they can use as many volunteers as we can get to plant trees along Jefferson on November 7th. We had a great time doing it as a joint event last year and will certainly have fun helping again. Bring your friends or family!

What to wear:
As always, please dress according to the weather and that it's something you don't mind getting dirty. Gloves and sturdy work or hiking boots are recommended. We plant rain or shine, but we'll hope for the shine bit.

What will be Provided:
Water and all the necessary tools will be provided by Greening of Detroit.

If you can, please bring: bring your own gloves and snack.

Directions:
Please meet at the corner of East Jefferson Ave. at Chalmers
