The Last Airbender finally on its way to theatres - Summer 2010

Not being a huge movie goer there are only a handful of new films that I feel the need to point out here on MCB...The Last Airbender is one of them.

This movie is based on the Avatar cartoon series which is amazing on its own but with M. Night Shyamalan as the writer/director this film is going to be something you will not soon forget.

If you haven't seen the animated series before its worth checking out...unlike most others it steers clear of crude violence and delivers a message that is postive with humor and wit.

Chaulk this one up as one of my 5 films per year

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film The Last Airbender is the opening chapter in Aang's struggle to survive.
