Wild At Heart
Been having a busy week between training a group of new hires at work and helping out my dad at home. Just broke down and got Dish Network for my dad so he has something to watch (hopefully) when there is nothing on the networks. The guy came today to set it up and took almost 6 hours for what should have been a 2 hour install at most. Not the best start and not a big fan of the tiny volume buttons on the remote. Still, able to watch Monday Night Football for the first time in years though this game is kind of boring right now. Have enjoyed the car channel though with some cool looks at a Car Museum in Monaco and the Peugeot Museum. I just hope my dad figures out the remote without throwing it at the new TV. Either way, this is the first time in over a decade I've had cable. The last time I did, "Tales Of the Crypt" was airing on HBO. We'll see what happens.
When not watching TV, here are some upcoming shows I recommend for the week:
Tuesday (9/17) - Imagine Dragons @ Meadowbrook Music Theatre
Thursday (9/19) - Gov't Mule @ the Fillmore
Friday (9/20) - Blue October @ St Andrews Hall, Beth Stalker @ Second City, Pistol Day Parade @ Diesel Concert Lounge
Saturday (9/21) - Eagles @ Palace Of Auburn Hills, St Thomas Boys Academy and 1592 open for Superdot @ Small's
Sunday (9/22) - California Guitar Trio @ The Ark, Joe Satriani @ Macomb Music Theatre
