This Saturday Downtown Lansing is hosting the second annual How-To Halloween, a
family-friendly festival which celebrates the do-it-yourself spirit of the holiday in a
safe environment.
The event showcases impressive custom built displays, interactive
activities, fun demonstrations and a homemade costume contest. Amazing lighting
and sound effects along with music and dancing will round out the entertainment.
The staff will be on-hand to answer questions and provide instructions to help fire
your imagination and inspire you to make your own incredible Halloween decorations
and costumes.
The creative atmosphere of this unique extravaganza will be a local grass-roots effort
to make a mini indoor Halloween themed adventure park with a DIY flare. Guests are
encouraged to arrive in full costume and be part of the attraction. The innovative
and festive setting appeals to all age groups and offers a great alternative to the
blood-and-gore standard of local haunted houses.

Admission is $6, with a portion of the proceeds going to charity.
