TONIGHT- Iggy Pop LIVE at The Fox Theatre in Detroit & American Valhalla: The Art of Post Pop Depression at The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit

 
Iggy Pop is coming back home tonight
 He will be playing the Fox Theatre in Detroit.
 
Iggy's band this time around consists of Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), Dean Fertita (Dead Weather, QOTSA), Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys), Troy Van Leeuwen (QOTSA) and Matt Sweeney.
They are touring in support of the forthcoming album "Post Pop Depression" which was released on March 18. The Fox Theatre show is one of just 13 North American dates on the tour, which promoters are billing as a "one-time-only" run.

'American Valhalla: The Art of Post Pop Depression'
 
American Valhalla: The Art of Post Pop Depression is an exhibition by photographers Andreas Neumann and Matt Helders, showcasing 20 pieces shot in 2015 with Iggy Pop and his new band. This premiere opening of the traveling exhibition is also an Afterglow with Iggy Pop and his band following their Detroit performance. All ticket proceeds benefit Josh Homme's charity The Sweet Stuff Foundation and MOCAD.
