Royal Oak Community Farm currently has been leasing the 11 Mile site from the Royal Oak School District for usage as the Royal Oak Community Farm. Their contract will not be renewed for the 2012 calendar year, and are currently seeking another Royal Oak Location. Farm profits go to the Royal Oak Foundation for Public Education.
Royal Oak Restaurant Associations 8th Annual Mardi Gras & Music Festival will be held on Fat Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Sponsored by Bud Light Featuring Bud Light Platinum and Media Sponsorship by Real Detroit and Social Connection.
Ticket Sales: A $10 donation to Royal Oak Community Farm includes special drink specials for participants’ only, featuring Mardi Gras Menus, live music at almost every venue, a free shuttle to get participants from venue to venue. Tickets are currently available at all participating venues. Door Sales will be available throughout the night, at any participating venue.
Check-In Check-in starts at 6pm-10pm, where you bought your ticket. Pick up your beads, VIP lanyard that will get you drink specials at every participating venue. Those that don't have the lanyard will not be allowed drink special prices. Drink specials last all night. You'll also get an entertainment itinerary, and a scavenger hunt sheet. There will be a shuttle provided from 6pm-1:30am.
Scavenger Hunt Rules: Where you bought your ticket will be your starting point. You must have 12 correct answers to be eligible to win one of our prizes. Feel free to roam around town at your own pace to complete the scavenger hunt. Also, on your scavenger hunt sheet, you'll need to get your sheet "stamped" by our volunteers by 10pm, after 10PM the bartender/or security should be able to stamp your sheet for you to verify your presence. All scavenger hunt sheets must be turned into the bartender by last call. Be sure to fill out your contact information at the bottom of our scavenger hunt sheet. Information will be used for contact purposes only, and will NOT be used or sold for mailing list purposes.
Winners will be contacted, and announced within the next week.
Top prizes include Plasma TV, Fire Kindle, and a gift basket worth over $300.
