Detroit Film Theatre
According to the American Film Institute, this festival sponsored by Digital Arts, Film & Television (DAFT) in partnership with the Detroit Film Theatre, is the oldest in the country showcasing the work of students in grades K through 12.
Many of the young people who received their first public exposure through the Michigan Student Film & Video Festival have gone on to pursue professional careers in the media arts, and a few have even been awarded Oscars!
The Elementary/Junior award ceremony begins at 10 a.m.

All festival screenings are free to the public.
