Wild Bill Ketelhut provides the "blog" to this anti-blog
Wild At Heart
I am really falling behind on a lot of stuff I have been hoping to bring to the blog which I apologize for and will try to make up for. I have downloaded some more pics to my site from the Toronto Fan Fest and will post some of my favorites like this guy dressed as a Ghostbuster testing new arrivals to the convention.
Or me checking out this guy who does light based props.
The next category are some of my favorite Super-heroes at Fan Fest. The most popular characters were Scarlet Widow, Thor, Loki, Iron Man, Captain America, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn showing the popularity of the Avengers movie though the sexy demented Harley and Ivy from the Batman lexicon has kept popularity among the more demented chicks. I also like to see less popular characters like Artemis, Fire and Ice, the Watchman's Commedian and Silk Spectre and Sewer Urchin from the Tick comics. A lot of characters see cross dressing as a lot of women playing male characters (and visa versa) but my favorite was the young Cyclops with working LED based goggles. You can check out my photobucket via links to check out some of the heroes that don't make this blog.
Another category is one of my favorite TV show, the British BBC series Dr Who. You don't see a lot of the older Doctors any more except a few Tom Bakers though I did see a Colin Baker but their is a lot of the newer doctors but it is the Daleks where the most interesting work comes in. Check out the Daleks that are fan built. The gold Dalek has a voice box which allows the user inside to speak in a realistic Dalek voice. This just shows that geeks have a lot of free time and creativity. Dr Who seems to be just as popular as it has ever been.
I got more pics themes into the categories of Star Wars, Anime and other. I just need to find the time to go though my 100's of pics and get as many posted as possible. It the meantime, here are some concerts to see in the upcoming week.
