DROPZONE: FURY ROAD TO THUNDERDOME CELEBRATES 40 YEARS OF MAD MAX!

 

                   

Doc Colony's Reloaded events continues to bring you the ultimate post-apocalyptic Mad Max movie cosplay experience! This years edition of Dropzone: Fury Road to Thunderdome celebrates the 40th anniversary of the film that started it all: Mad Max! The 1979 Australian dystopian action film directed by George Miller spawned three sequels and inspired many other directors and events such as this one. This annual gathering is the only Mad Max Cosplay event in the Midwest.

It will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2018, starting at 7:00 pm at the Tangent Gallery/Hastings Street Ballroom 715 E. Milwaukee St. in Detroit. (313) 873-2955. 18 & over are welcome.

Experience this epic adventure into the apocalyptic world of the road warrior!  The event will feature War Wagons, War Bikes, War Boys and War Girls will unite for royal cage fighting, bloody roller battles and high octane mayhem in an actual Thunderdome. Live music, explosive performances, eclectic artisans, an apocalyptic art gallery, and custom war vehicles will be on display.
