TRICK OR TREATING IN DOWNTOWN ROYAL OAKSunday, October 28, more than 3,000 goblins, monsters, ghosts and other-worldly creatures will descend on Downtown Royal Oak for “Spooktacular Trick or Treating”, from 2pm-4pm. Trick or treating will take place along Main Street, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Washington Avenue. “This is a great Royal Oak tradition that attracts parents and children from all over. It is our way of opening up our stores and restaurants and offering a safe and fun alternative for parents to take their kids trick or treating,” said restaurateur and DDA Board member Luigi Cutraro.
I spoke with Sylvia, owner of RISE Clothing on Washington Blvd - She was outside passing out candy to trick or treaters and mentioned that this event gets bigger and better every year.
"It's just great to see this many familys out on the street having so much fun."
