ATHF is unquestionably one of those things -- either you dig it, or you don't. But because you don't now, it doesn't mean you won't later. The first time I watched this [adult swim] granddaddy -- ten years and counting! -- I thought, "I could NEVER be high enough to think this is funny..." Then, no more than a few weeks later, just exactly the right joke struck me in exactly the right place to switch on my ATHF gene, and I've been a huge fan ever since.
These crazy fucks obviously understand the depths of Detroit culture. So much so, they are going from Madison to Detroit then back to Chicago, just to play here on a Saturday night. (Hey, that's my story.) Okay, here's even better proof of the Detroit lurve: Next new episode of ATHF? "Jugalo." Respect.
