This Friday (May 27) there will be a panel discussion entitled
"Plastic Dreams: The Forgotten Future of the Vinyl Format"
taking place at the MOCAD (Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit).
The panel of experts will explore topics involving the resurgence of the vinyl format and its impact on the local music industry. Leading members of Detroit's music scene will be on hand to discuss whether or not the resurgence is real, Detroit's storied history with vinyl manufacturing, and more.
The discussion will
be moderated by Monty Luke.
