Nearly 20 Area Restaurants Will Compete for the Title of Detroit’s Best Burger
In partnership with Dine Drink Detroit, Low Frequency, and Fairway Packing, Detroit Burger Brawl returns to Eastern Market on Saturday, August 27th. Nearly 20 restaurants from around metro Detroit will be competing for the title of Detroit’s Best Burger during this street fair-style event, which will run from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Attendees are encouraged to sample all of the competing burgers and vote for their favorite, with the top four restaurants getting the chance to specially prepare a custom burger for a five-member panel of celebrity judges to taste and select. Voting will take place between 11:00am and 1:00pm via the Burger Brawl app, with results updated in real-time via onsite screens and the web, and the top four burgers will be judged at 3:00pm.
Tickets for Detroit Burger Brawl start at $25, granting access and all-you-can-eat burgers, with $55 VIP tickets offering early access (9:30am), entry into the VIP tent and bar, and two drink tickets.
This year’s Detroit Burger Brawl will be emceed by Ken Daniels, the voice of the Detroit Red Wings, and be held at 1313 Erskine in Detroit’s Eastern Market, shutting down the road between Russell and Rivard.
