Come on out to the SOUP at Spaulding August dinner. This dinner benefits community projects in the Corktown, North Corktown, Core City and Woodbridge neighborhoods.
This edition of Soup at Spaulding will be at Holding House art workspace and gallery located at 25th Ave and Michigan Ave. We will have good soup provided by neighborhood institutions, real community, music and a chance to help your neighbors with projects they are working on that make our city GREAT.
For those unfamiliar with the SOUP model, $5 gets you soup, salad, bread and a vote. At each SOUP dinner there are four presentations on projects ranging from art, urban agriculture, social justice, social entrepreneurs, education, technology and more. Your vote can make a real difference in community projects in your neighborhood!
We are currently looking for those in need of funding. If you would like to submit an idea, we encourage you to contact us! If you have a project that benefits the neighborhoods / neighbors of Corktown, North Corktown, Core City and / or Woodbridge this is your chance to make it happen!
