Doom legends Pentagram will be making a tour stop at Detroit's newest venue this Thursday!

The show will include Pentagram,Electric Citizen, and Satan's Satyrs.

Pentagram's Bobby Liebling says the band is "Extremely excited about our upcoming tours in the US and Europe this summer and fall. We all are itching to perform some of our songs off of our new album 'Curious Volume' for you. We feel that they fit well within the other heavy numbers from the bands near 45 year history. Of course, the set is packed with the classics you know and love and ones that you may not even expect. Bring your earplugs, we are going to blow off the roof with our curious volume!"

Electric Citizen formed just over a year ago by guitarist Ross Dolan, vocalist Laura Dolan, Nick Vogelpohl (bass), and Nate Wagner (drums). Electric Citizen have had a busy year turning heads and ears on their dark and estoeric style of haunting and unhallowed '60s West Coast rock, and decidedly British-influenced psychedelia.

The hours for the event are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. The flea market is presented by the Historic Fort Wayne Coalition.

As always, tours priced at $5 per person of the Historic Fort Wayne complex will be offered each day.

The guided tours will include the Star Fort built in the 1840s and the Spanish-American War Guard House.

Secured parking is $5 per vehicle, and admission is free for the flea market. Refreshments will also be for sale.

The Fort's regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday each weekend now through Sunday, October 25. Secured parking is $5, and admission is free. For more information on special events and activities at Historic Fort Wayne during 2015, visit www.historicfortwaynecoalition.com.

The Historic Fort Wayne Coalition is dedicated to preserving the history of Michigan men and women who served their country between 1845 and 1973 who either sent material to or personally passed through Historic Fort Wayne as a place of induction to United States military service.  They assist the Fort's caretakers, the City of Detroit Recreation Department, with this effort in two major ways.  First, they present high quality events that provide ways for the public to enjoy Historic Fort Wayne and see glimpses of how it would have looked when it was garrisoned.  They also preserve and restore as much of the structures and facilities as possible on the Fort grounds.

The Gooch Palms Tour Comes To Detroit This Friday!

New 'Slow Burner' Single Available On iTunes
(Taken From 'Introverted Extroverts' Album - To Be Released Early 2016)
Produced By Bill Skibbe

2013 Debut Album 'NOVO'S' Out On Cassette Through Burger Records

Never afraid to push the boundaries, The Gooch Palms have dropped their latest single and it's a little different from their previous releases. "Slow Burner is the kind of song we've been wanting to make for a long time" says Leroy Macqueen of the new single. "Working with producer Bill Skibbe (The Kills, Black Keys, Protomartyr) gave us the confidence to try something different. We love pop music and that's no secret, so we are really excited to get this one out there." Slow Burner was recorded in a two week studio session at Key Club Recording Studios in Michigan, and is one of 13 songs the band laid down for upcoming album, Introverted Extroverts (to be released next year).

It's been a busy year for the Gooch Palms - the rambunctious duo relocated from Australia earlier this year to sunny Los Angeles and have been making waves across the country ever since. They have played over 80 shows across North America, including, most recently, Echo Park Rising in Los Angeles and Burger Boogaloo in Oakland, and have just headed out on the road again for the single launch. This time, they'll be taking their new synthesizer (featured on Slow Burner and a few other new tunes) along for the ride!

Burger Records just released the band's 2013 debut album, 'NOVO'S' on cassette.

There are 3 nights of DAMNED, each with its own distinct theme for the ambiance and performances that flourish within the exhibition:
