CIS After Dark returns for the 2015-2016 season to investigate the science of scary with Fright, an evening of Halloween fun for adults 21+ on Thursday, October 15 from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. Spooky science experiments, creepy conversations, Fright-themed cocktails and food, and the chance to make glow-in-the-dark slime will make for a frightfully good time. Dr. Christine Rabinak (Assistant Professor, WSU Department of Pharmacy Practice) joins us to discuss the human response to scary stimuli. University of Detroit Mercy Chem Club will bring startling chemistry demonstrations. Spirit Hunter Sandy Lyons, and Skeptic Robert Elmouchi take the stage as they debate the presence of paranormal activity. Enjoy the new Bats: Superheroes of the Night exhibit and learn why we shouldn't fear these furry nighttime fliers. Costumes are encouraged - scary, spooky, or funny! Preregistered tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Day of admission is $20 at the door.
