... is a journalist, writer, artist, communications expert and political activist. He currently works as a communications consultant to several labor and public service organizations. Previously he was a member of the UAW International Union staff for eighteen years, including twelve years as director of the Public Relations and Publications. He has worked at factories, retail stores and a number of media organizations including WDET and WTVS. He has won journalism awards in print, radio and television. He is a member of UAW Local 1981, the National Writers Union (NWU).
