"Detroit Historical Museum“Stranded at the Corner” documents the story of Tiger Stadium and the fight to preserve it. The film chronicles the stadium, built as Navin Field in 1912 and renamed Briggs Stadium in 1938. It features interviews with former Tiger Willie Horton; local historians; business owners, such as Ray Formosa of neighboring Brooks Lumber; Bill Haase, former Tigers Chief Operating Officer; lawyers, and many others who fought to preserve baseball’s oldest ballpark. "
